Bordering the Giraffe Sanctuary forest on the outskirts of Nairobi, Eden sits on a four-acre property in the peaceful suburb of Langata and offers travelers an immediate connection to a deeply authentic expression of one family’s Kenyan home, history and adventures.
Originally designed and built by Tonio and Anna Trzebinski, the 9 bedroom former family home has been transformed into a living museum and private gallery space that is filled with the family’s own artworks and creations, as well as their personal library and artefacts that have been collected over a lifetime from across the continent.
Whilst staying at Eden, hotel guests have the opportunity to enjoy a fully immersive contemporary cultural experience within the intimacy of the hotel and across the city. Eden prides itself in being a platform from which to experience a modern Nairobi in a unique way.
Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre are all within a short driving distance and the hotel is within easy reach of Nairobi’s most interesting restaurants, eclectic shopping experiences and artist studios.
Set on Leafy Grounds, Eden Nairobi is comprised of Nine Rooms in total: Three in the Main House and Five in the Studio Annex, and the artist in residence cottage. The main house is equipped with a beautiful open-plan dining area, bar, living room with fireplace and veranda as well as a divinity room.
The Studio Annex has Three Standalone Studio Lofts with a Bedroom and Bathroom on the ground floor and living area above. Two other Bedrooms sit above another enchantingly designed open-plan living room with a fireplace, bar and dining area.
